Vanessa Leigh was founded back in 2010 in her local Bayside town situated in Melbourne/Victoria. Vanessa’s love for all things skin is infectious, she truly lives and breathes what she does.

Vanessa started her career as a Professional makeup artist, working in runway, photography and weddings, but her enthusiasm for skincare drove her to continue her studies and complete her diploma in beauty therapy in 2003.

Vanessa completed her studies at the top of her class and finished the year with the highest grade for her Skin Thesis. Vanessa was hired by her first employer through work experience, and this is where her love for skin began.

Over the years, Vanessa partook in multiple outsourced training seminars and courses, including; Advanced Skin Diagnosis, Paramedical Aesthetics, Advanced Peel Training, Cosmetic Tattooing and ongoing product development. Vanessa was also awarded Best Local Beauty Therapist in the Bayside Leader within the first year of opening, and then went onto also becoming a finalist in the ABIA Beauty Awards. Vanessa’s ongoing commitment to her clients of almost 18years, drew an extremely loyal client base and were always considered to her as her second family!

So, in July of 2021, Vanessa made the hardest decision of all, which was to leave her business, her beautiful clients and her local town behind and move to Northern Rivers to experience a new and exciting adventure with her husband and two small children Sienna 3 and Mason 6. Vanessa and her family moved to Skennars Head and explored all of what northern rivers had to offer and magically stumbled across the beautiful Rous Mill, a short distance from Alstonville. This will be the place where they decided they would plant themselves and grow roots in explore of a new beginning. After 6 months, the intensity of her beauty world overcame her and it was then that they decided to build a warm, stylish, country feel clinic room, fit with a cozy, modern styled waiting room for her to embrace her wealth of knowledge in once again.
